About the Role
As a Paradigm Front End Developer you will be responsible for ensuring that the Paradigm website is a top tier experience for our collectors and artists. You will be involved in various aspects of the development process, from concept to the finished product.
This job will require you to possess strong experience in React, Javascript, CSS and HTML. If you have experience working with a particular blockchain technology, we’d love to hear about that, but since we’re still a small team you’ll need to be willing and able to get your hands dirty across the whole front end product landscape.
Responsibilities:
Developing high quality web experiences for the Paradigm climate NFT platform
Collaborating with the Design team to implement features for maximum functionality and visual aesthetics
Creating Brand UI libraries to maintain brand consistency throughout the frontend
Enhancing website features and resolving frontend technical issues
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Continually learn and apply relevant software development practices, patterns, tools and technologies.
Familiarity with fast iteration to produce working prototypes for demonstration purposes even if they are not hooked into a backend
Comfortable with rapid directional changes of focus in a startup environment
Implementing full fledged and performant UI for our Web3 platform
Integrate interaction with blockchain into React frontend app to support functionality of several smart contracts. This includes, trading NFTs, NFT auction mechanism, submitting transactions, updating user’s balances, updating the state of submitted transactions in the state management tool and more.
Creating trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable
Experience Required:
5+ years experience as as a front end developer
Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in an organised manner
Experience in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Testing
Experience designing for the web, and familiar with web design standards and systems
Experience in building and deploying to production systems
Strong debugging skills with a pragmatic approach
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
A self-starter, who operates with minimal guidance
Passionate about visual aesthetics with a keen eye for design
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Web3.js
Understand how to interact with solidity contracts - Call functions, get properties, check status of the submitted transactions
Experience working in blockchain integration
Understand the flow of the web3 application
An interest in and a general understanding of art and/or collectables industries
An interest in climate and environment and the desire to do good.
Familiarity and interest with NFTs and digital collectables
Knowledge of NFTs and the Ethereum Ecosystem is hugely helpful
Energetic, entrepreneurial person who collaborates well with others and gets things done
